The Region of Murcia is located in the southeast of Spain, on the Mediterranean coast.

Murcia is a major producer of fruits, vegetables, wine and olive oil. This serves to a gastronomy of authentic Mediterranean cooking. Being on the coastline the fish and shellfish from Mar Menor are celebrated. However, the Region of Murcia is also well-known for its rice, sausages, preserved foods, nuts, aromatic plants, fruit and confectionery.

Welcome to Mar Menor
The flat is situated in Mar Menor in the region of Murcia in the south east of Spain.
El Bolevard: El Bolevard is located at the entrance to the resort a 2 minute walk from the apartment. Here you will find restaurants, bars and a late night dance club.
Airports: The resort is located just 10 minutes from San Javier (Murcia) airport and approx. 50 minutes from Alicante airport.
Coast/Beach: There are 7 main beaches in the Los Alcazares area. This is around a 10 min drive from the resort. All hold Blue Flag Awards.
Skiing: Sierra Nevada Skiing Resort is 3 hours drive away.
Water Sports: La Manga, around 30 min drive.has ten water sports teaching centres (Escuelas de Vela).
City: Murcia city is a 45 minute drive from the resort. The city has a number of shops, museums, restaurants and a stunning cathedral. Categena city is around a 20 minute drive from the resort. This city has a beautiful marina and is full of ancient buildings, traditional Spanish cafes and restaurants.
Shopping: There are many tradtional spanish shops nearby in Los Alcazares and at the outdoor shopping centre Zenia, 15 mins away.
